All systems are GO and we are taking off to a new location for the 2019 Chucktown Showdown thanks to our presenting sponsor, Charleston County Parks and Rec (CCPRC)!
This race event is open to Stand-Up Paddleboards, Prones, Outrigger Canoes and Surfski Kayaks. Race day is Saturday, September 28th, 2019 and benefits Surfers Healing Folly Beach.
On Saturday, September 28th, the main event will be hosted at the Pelican Pavilion @ Folly Beach County Park on Folly, SC. The event feature three races, a kids, short and long course. More info, including weekend schedule, divisions, prizes and course maps can be found on the “Race Details” page.

- Free for County Park Members
- $5 for Participants with CCPRC Voucher (will be in race bags) (We are paying the other $5)
- $10 without one of the above
- Dogs – Dogs are allowed in the park area, but they are only allowed on the beach until 10am..“An owner or person having control of any dog shall not permit the dog to be upon the public beach at any time between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from May 1 through September 30 of each year. At all other times, the dog must be on a leash.”
